COASTAL RAIL TRAIL
Via de la Valle & Hwy 101, Solana Beach, CA 92075
This segment of the vibrant Coastal Rail Trail is a 1.5-mile path that follows an old railroad track running north to south the whole length of Solana Beach. This trail features artworks that are like hidden treasures meant to be discovered. The trail is a part of a larger project called Rails-to-Trails, a system of trails traversing much of the region’s coastal areas. The views from the north end at Harbaugh Trails are stunning!

ANNIE’S CANYON

This short hike along San Elijo Lagoon leads to one of the few slot canyons in San Diego County. See panoramic views of both the Pacific Ocean and the San Elijo Lagoon, with naturally eroding sandstone walls engulfing you.
