Cancellation & Payment Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of making a booking will receive a full refund.

A 10% non‑refundable deposit is required once the contract is signed and the 24‑hour booking grace period has passed. Payment must be made with a valid credit card. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.

The remaining balance of your reservation, minus the 10% non‑refundable deposit, is due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations canceled within 30 days of arrival are not eligible for a refund.

Reservation Agreement

You will receive an electronic Reservation Agreement. Please review and sign it within 24 hours to avoid any interruption to your reservation. The Agreement will be sent by Stubbs Real Estate through Adobe Acrobat Sign.

  • Sunday: 10 AM - 2 PM Hours may extend seasonally. We are closed on major holidays.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In: 4:00 PM We make every effort to have your rental ready by 4 PM. In rare cases, check-in may be delayed for maintenance or special cleaning. Sunday arrivals may be eligible for early check‑in, please contact the office.

Check-Out: Before 10:00 AM Check-out time is strictly enforced. Please return keys to the office by 10 AM on your departure day.


Directions From San Diego

Take I-5 North for 18 miles to Exit 36 - Via De La Valle. Use the left two lanes to turn left onto Via De La Valle. Continue straight for one mile. Proceed past Coast Highway 101 onto Border Ave, the road curves right onto Sierra Ave. In 0.2 miles, Stubbs Real Estate Vacation Rentals will be on the right‑hand side.

Please note: This is a place of business, and deliveries are preferred between 9 AM and 5 PM.

Housekeeping Service

Before your arrival, your rental is fully inspected, cleaned, and stocked with fresh linens and towels. A starter set of welcome amenities is provided, including soaps, paper products, and a small supply of laundry detergent. Housekeeping during your stay is not included in the nightly rate. Additional cleaning services may be arranged for an extra fee, based on availability.

Smoking Policy

All properties are strictly non-smoking, including marijuana. Any evidence of smoking or lingering odor will result in an additional fee. Please follow all smoking regulations specific to your location.


Important Items in Your Rental Property

  • Linens: sheets, pillowcases, comforters

  • Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, beach towels

  • Fully equipped kitchen: cookware, utensils, table settings, and standard appliances (stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker) unless otherwise noted

  • Welcome amenities: starter set of toiletries, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner

  • Paper products: starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels

  • BBQ & propane (available in most homes)

Items You May Want to Bring

  • Food items and cooking basics: spices, condiments, salt, pepper, flour, sugar, etc.

  • Personal toiletries: toothpaste, toothbrushes, pain relievers, and other personal care products
