Fabulous location! Deck views are spectacular. We had a couple questions for the rental company and they were very responsive. Be aware the unit does not have a/c. I overlooked that in the description. There were towels for each bathroom, however no extra towels- this would be a nice addition to the condo. There were also no beach towels - again another convenience which would have been helpful. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans. No cookie sheet though and a few kitchen supplies would be helpful. For example foil, plastic wrap extra garbage bags. The unit was clean and the furniture was very comfortable. Out side could have been
leaf blown and tidied up a bit. The garage was very convenient for parking.

The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. My family really enjoyed our stay at Coastal Soul. The views literally cannot be beaten. The home is clean and plenty of room. Nice 3 full bedrooms. Kitchen has all you need. Full garage to park your car and surfboards (if you surf!). We enjoyed many nights enjoying the sunsets. The management team was very easy to work with and accommodating to an earlier checkin which we appreciated. The home is right on the ocean, so enjoy the sound of the waves. Expect some typical “beach worn” touches on the home — it’s a cottage on the ocean — nothing stays perfect with salt water! Thank you.

Perfect location along a seemingly private road off the PCH. Walk/drive to eats and drive to shopping. Walk to either R or L for beach access down stairs or ramp. Dolphins galore, feeding close offshore. Surfers to the right in presumably a deeper inlet. No AC but not an issue in Oct due to marine breeze and start of chill. The sound of waves crashing and the beauty of their rollers and formation were mesmerizing. There is a next door duplex house that fortunately was not busy but one should be aware... All amenities were provided for. Keys and garage door fobs stay in unit and do not need to be physically returned which was such a great Convenience: Thank you Stubbs! Also texting the staff was instant and greatly helpful and friendly. Plenty of towels. Longer stays would need more toiletries so be aware that starter packs are provided though: Thanks to Stubbs. [There was some turnip smell coming out of the disposal but this was reported and acknowledged so as to not affect us afterward]. Full garage was not advertised particularly but what a Bonus! New bed pillows perhaps. Would definitely like to stay here again. Plenty of parking for additional visitors really along the One way street. Fridge worked great. [They may have to replace the wood along the left of the fridge, not sure if there is a leak there?]. Great stay. May request a revisit in future. Thanks much: Stubbs!

We enjoyed our stay in Leucadia. Great views from the deck and balcony. Easy walking access to Stone Steps and Beacon's beaches, to Pannekin coffee, Vigilucci's Trattoria, and Birdseye Kitchen. Nice amenities. Good support from the property manager for planning, check in, and check out.

The location was incredible, the apartment was spacious and suitable for our needs. The kitchen appliances, dish washer, coffee maker were sub-par. all the knives were too dull to use.
When we arrived there was a film on every surface, the floors were dirty, however, the problem was remedy fairly quickly with a good clean. over-all it was a good rental but has the potential to be a great rental. we would consider renting it again if some of things mentioned above were updated.

We had an amazing stay at Coastal Soul. The property was ideal for our group of six, providing a perfect setting for bonding not only with each other but also with the ocean and its vibrant marine life.
However, upon arrival, we found several flies trapped inside the apartment, which took up most of our first day to clear out. We suspect they entered through an open window (without screen) in the nook area that was left open accidently.

We enjoyed our 9 day stay in this nice townhome in a great location. Walkable and quiet neighborhood near beach, shopping, and restaurants. Overall a nice comfortable place that had some updates in 2023. Nice linens, extra towels, garage parking with garage door opener, wonderful deck, Master bedroom fan, W/D, sweeper/broom, lots of TV's, and updated furniture and blinds. Beds were firm, but we ended up sleeping decent. We did not cook a lot but kitchen seemed pretty stocked, other than we did not have any dish towels for drying hands or dishes. Home really needs new windows as many would not open at all, and this is an issue when no air conditioner. The big issues were the smell in the garage upon arrival due to the dog feces in the trash cans (smell stuck around for most of the stay), and the home not being properly cleaned after the prior guest. The home did not smell fresh and clean, and there was lots of dog hair on the floors. I paid an extra cleaning fee of $350.00 so my daughter's dogs could visit us at the rental, and the home was not even clean from the prior dog that was there. That was frustrating. The bathroom upstairs was not as clean as expected, and the tub had difficulty draining. I had gotten used to renting through private individual owners who seem to offer a more personal experience and touches. I have rarely ever had cleanliness issues with individual owners. Amenities like beach equipment would have been nice since we were so close to the beach access point. With a few improvements, this could be a 5 star property, and I might look to stay again when visiting our daughter who lives in Carlsbad.

The location is great and view is lovely.Beds were comfortable. However, the condition of the property is tired. The kitchen utensils, drawers, pots & pans were a hodgepode of items and nothing was organized in the cupboards - . Dirty drawers and rusted utensils. Toaster was archaic. One martini glass - thankfully, there were more wine glasses. Need to toss plastic bowls, etc.,
Knives couldn't slice anything. Window in master dosen't close and is in dire need of repair. Really didn't appreciate having other people's garbage smell the garage for days until pickup. No tissues, chair in kitchen is falling apart when you move it -Theatre room? Fitness equipment? Cupboards are laminate and loose. You can barbecue and they will charge you $25 if you don't clean it, but they don't leave you a barbecue brush?! You have to call in advance. Although I emailed Stubbs and, received a response days later stating I'm sorry - someone should have gotten back to you... and we are still waiting. Couldn't sit outside - cushions were filthy. Need to have someone pay attention to details to have a better experience. Spent most of our time not in-house.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The views were definitely breathtaking. Waking up and going to bed to the sounds of the ocean each day and night were unforgettable. The property location is amongst million dollar homes and prime real estate location in Leucadia. Many places to eat close by whether you want Italian, Coffee, Ice Cream, Deli, Sandwiches. It’s also very close to Carlsbad since we took our son to LegoLand - 15min drive. We also went to SD Zoo Safari Park in Encinitas - 45 min drive. Moonlight Beach is within walking distance just under a mile...it’s currently under repairs, however they have a nice cafe and playground for the children. The property is very spacious and well equip. The bed downstairs is very comfortable. The master bed room mattress is hard as a rock. There also is a room for the children with 2 twins. The master bed room needs some work although the bathtub is amazing with incredible views of the Pacific Ocean the windows around the bathtub do not open and close very easily. They are rusted out from the salt water. These need to be fixed. The shower and bathroom in the master bedroom are very small. We chose to use the bathroom in the hallway instead. The staff were very nice by accommodating a smooth check in and check out process. They even had some come and clean the windows middle of week because it rained a few days before. I would stay here again if the master bed room was addressed for the price of this place and the views you cannot go wrong.

The unit was a perfect size for a family of seven! We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai, watching the waves and seeing the dolphins swimming by. It is our understanding that many of the minor defects with the unit are scheduled to get some badly needed TLC. Overall the unit worked well for our family.

House was very nice comfortable for the six of us can walk to shopping, beaches, restaurants. Does need some deep cleaning carpets and floor in kitchen needs repair. Subbs were great new umbrella and screens. Had a great in spite of these things

My family of five stayed at this property in July and had a lovely experience. The Ocean view is fabulous and the beach access was a short walk from the Coastal Soul. The property could use some updating, but there were plenty of supplies, beach toys and proximity to delicious restaurants, bars and shopping. We would definitely stay again.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay on the ocean in Encinitas. This house was bigger and nicer than we expected. We loved the large living room/dining room area, and the large deck overlooking the ocean. We also liked being able to use the garage which attaches to the house. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we would stay in this property again.

5 ladies on a beach vacation after COVID vaccinations. The view was absolutely everything I’d hoped it would be. You could hear the waves in the house. So easy to sit on the deck & enjoy watching surfers & dolphins & beautiful sunsets. But you could go down a few blocks & access the sand beach.

We highly recommend this wonderful rental on the bluff overlooking the ocean! Expansive deck on main floor with sweeping ocean views, oceanfront balcony off master bedroom and even an ocean view from the master bathroom. Nice walks through the neighborhood form Moonlight beach to Beacon beach. Lovely walks to many restaurants. This was our first family visit to CA since Covid. We were grateful to the management company for their support and had a very memorable experience!
