This was a spacious, well located place where we spent a week. The property manager was easy to deal with. The place was clean though some of the finishes, especially in the bathrooms, could use a refresh. Would recommend overall and would rent again.

We booked a last minute trip to the San Diego Area. Solana beach is a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. The condo we stayed in was close to perfect. The only negative was the lack of A.C.. We managed fine with the numerous fans but something to be aware of in very hot weather. The unit overlooked the ocean. There are 115 steps down to the beach which we were not aware of when we booked. This could be a deterrent to some. The unit itself was lovely. Two bedrooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. The complex has a nice pool. The unit was within walking distance of some shops and restaurants. All in all a wonderful trip.

We love this location! The evening sunsets and the sound of the surf are lovely! Overall very happy with the unit. The dishwasher was a little sketchy, but that's often true with rental units. No serving dishes for those of us who actually cook in the unit.

We were very pleased with this property – it was very conveniently located in the complex with very short walk from the garage and minimal number of stairs to get in. Comfortable specious unit with Master Bedroom and Dining/Liveng room have amazing oceanfront views. Big balcony to enjoy sunsets and drinks or morning coffee.
The well-equipped kitchen which we used quite a lot for breakfast and couple dinners. Nice supply of condiments and spices was a very pleasant surprise.
Stubbs people were very helpful as usual as it we are doing at least once a year for about 5 years now – never a bad experience.

We enjoyed the condo with the view of the ocean. The complex itself is also very nice. Great pool and spa and very quiet. Love the stairs at the end of the complex direct to the beach. The condo itself is very comfortable, great beds and linens, 2 bath and 2 bed is very roomy.

This condo was a perfect fit for our week long stay. Easy to get too, clean, great views and plenty to do around the area. Beds were comfortable and furniture was well maintained for a rental property. Linens provided were clean, plush and in good condition. Kitchen provided enough plates, utensils and amenities to make sure stay more comfortable. Not having AC was not an issue with the ocean breeze and two fans were provided. Parking spots are extremely tight with cement pillars so if you have a larger car beware. Was not happy to see any traps everywhere in the condo however we only say 2-3 ants during our stay. The views are breathtaking and with so much to do in the area we did not spend much time in the condo.

We were delighted with Stubbs and our experience with the personnel there. They were quick to help us out with problems in the unit and they did tell us that property needed renovation. The furnishings are comfortable but the bathrooms felt cramped and dirty and the appliances did not work well. The grill was too dirty to use, there was an ant infestation. The parking stalls for this unit are very narrow-we'd recommend a compact car or smaller if someone is renting. We wanted an ocean view and the ocean didn't disappoint, Solana Beach is a lovely place to stay.

We have rented through Stubbs several times now and the location of all the rentals including this one at Solana Beach and Tennis Club can't be beat. Quick access to the beach, walk to shops and fantastic restaurants. The views of the Pacific are worth the price of admission every time. There are two things that rubbed me with this experience. First, the pool was being resurfaced. This is advertised as an amenity and something I believe I pay for as part of the rental. I was not given a heads up on this and found out as we went to the pool for a swim and seriously disappointed my daughter. You need to give a guy a heads up on this. Very disappointing and frustrating; especially for a child. A simple heads up to your guests and a repeat customer is expected. This is something you should be aware of Stubbs. Second, part of the experience and amenities is the secure, covered, close and convenient parking. We were unable to utilize the garage or parking for the last 3 days due to the other buildings getting fumigated. We were not informed of this by Stubbs until the morning of and literally minutes before we almost were locked out and unable to retrieve our car and move it to the street. We were not even at the condo when Stubbs called. We were at the beach with no service. If we would have been locked out, we would not been able to get the car out as the buildings were fully wrapped. When I contacted Stubbs about my concerns there was no empathy for me as a repeat guest. We were told to find a spot on the street or at the garage across the street, and they were more concerned about how they were affected than me as a guest. I was left to feel unimportant with no option or anything to resolve the issue; a lost amenity that again I was not given a heads up and just about lost access to my car until 3 days after our checkout. Furthermore, I was told that since it did not affect my building that it didnt matter which tells me Stubbs was aware.

Property was very clean and fairly updated. Could probably use new appliances soon though. The bed was better than most in this category. Fairly firm. Location was perfect for shopping, dining, and any outdoor activities. Steps from the ocean. Beautiful view and a great property management staff.

We had a very pleasant week in Solana Beach. Our rental was clean, large, well equipped, had a good ocean view, and was reasonably priced. Some items in the kitchen do need replacement. We would stay there again.

We spent 5 weeks in this oceanfront condo and loved every minute. While the unit is somewhat dated it was clean and comfortable. But the very best part was the access to an incredible beach (4 km one way) and the view. Oh and the sound of the ocean....... Walkable to great restaurants and coffee shops with quick access to Torrey Pines And everything else along the 101. We spent a good deal of time hiking inland near Poway, Escondido and Mission Trails and Solana Beach was very convenient to all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone craving a bit of that SoCal lifestyle.

we enjoyed staying at Sea'batical. The space was large and perfect for my family of 4 and the occasional extended family that would come visit us which is why we were in town. Beautiful views, we didn't have great weather but it was still lovely to watch the surf and sunsets. The rental details were easy and we loved having access to the heated pool and jacuzzi.

Overall it was good, I was able to golf some and enjoy some of the sunshine. The area being locked down didn't do much for sightseeing or dining out so that put a damper on it. The area was fine and we experienced no issues with the condo.

Comfy beds and well-stocked kitchen. Most of the condo was redone, but not the bathrooms. Both bathroom sinks had a horrible rotten egg odor when you turned on the faucets. The balcony was nice but the furniture was uncomfortable. Desperately needed cushions and chair and lounge pads. Washing machine is old and tricky to operate. And how can you call that small glass enclosure a fireplace?

Overall we really enjoyed the stay. The people in the office were great, and friendly. The only minor faults are that the floor seam was broken and wasn’t fixed while we were there, but no big deal, and the 2nd room had a tv in it that doesn’t have access to cable...but again, no big deal (I recommend you put in the listing there is a 2nd tv available to use for video games or movies, you just have to bring them with you). We will come back!
