This is our second season in this condo and its just excellent, checks all the boxes for us. We've been coming to Solana Beach for 21 years now, wow cannot believe it.

Sorry, this is so late. We enjoyed our stay in SBTC 336. It was in a great location with nice views of the ocean.We have been coming to Solana Beach and using Stubbs off and on for over 40 years. They have always been great and responsive. I just want to commend Tyker, Kevin, and Jennifer for all the help they always provide, their friendliness, and professionalism. It's because of them that we keep coming back as they always steer us right as to various properties.

Overall the rental experience was exactly what we were looking for when planning a vacation to the San Diego area. We wanted a relaxing place to stay that allowed us to access the beach, views of the beach and ocean from the unit, Legoland, San Diego Zoo and USS Midway aircraft carrier. We wanted space to live unlike a hotel and the flexibility to just stay at the rental for a day if we wanted. Easy beach access. Access to the Solana Beach train station so you did not have to drive down to San Diego if you did not want to when visiting sites. As mentioned in other reviews, the rental did have small ant issues in the kitchen. Having dealt with this situation before as a homeowner, it's not something you want to deal with on vacation but it was not a deal breaker for us. We would have no problem staying here again in the future. Rental staff were great and appreciated text message updates.

Had everything and more even though we didnt use the kitchen. The only negative was that we thought it was a non smoking unit but found butts in the garbage can. And that pail looked like it wasnt cleaned in some time. We will be sure to ask for a non smoking unit if possible. Also there were some ants on the couch and in the bed on me.

We had an amazing stay at this condo! The cleanliness was top-notch, making us feel comfortable and at home. The ocean view from the rental was absolutely breathtaking, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The proximity to restaurants made dining out convenient, and we enjoyed exploring the local culinary scene.

The location felt safe and secure, providing peace of mind throughout our stay. The highlight for us was the fantastic tennis courts and other amenities that added to the overall enjoyment of our vacation. Being right on the beach was the cherry on top – waking up to the sound of waves and having the beach just steps away was a dream.

Overall, we absolutely loved the condo and all it had to offer. The combination of cleanliness, ocean views, proximity to dining, safety, and great amenities made our stay memorable. We are already looking forward to returning and highly recommend it to others seeking a wonderful beachfront experience.

We stayed two weeks and had a lovely time. The ocean view from the condo was from all three rooms. The beach is fantastic , quiet and great for walking. We did not use the stairs down as both my husband and I have bad knees. It was easy to walk to Fletcher park and access the beach via a ramp with no stairs. Elevator was close to condo. I was disappointed there was not an east facing deck as all of the other condos had. Also most of the cooking pans were not suitable to cook with peeling Teflon , non stick
Coating . There were 2 cooking pots that were useable. There were plenty of dishes, glassware and baking pans.
I liked the area .. restaurants within walking and grocery store a short drive . Check in after hours was easy and Stubbs gave great directions . We would book again.

We visited for work from home for a few days and family vacation, combo trip. The location, size, comfort and amenities were perfect. Easy walk to the beach and coffee shops/shopping. We slept with the doors & windows open to enjoy the breeze and ocean waves. It's a calm and quiet spot. The condo is a really great size and layout. It was also SO well stocked. Couple things could be replaced or upgraded but overall it was clean and cozy (loved the books and games). Really comfortable beds and great workspace in master. Easy drive into San Diego to go to zoo and we took the coaster from Solana beach station to downtown. We had a great time! We also rented beach cruisers and rode up to Encinitas and stopped in Cardiff for brewery/shopping. We would definitely stay here again. Stubbs was so accommodating and friendly as well. Thank you!

Wonderful condo very close to the beach. We could hear the waves from every room in the condo. Proximity to beach is awsome. The tv is not user friendly but we didn't watch much tv (except couldn't get any football). We would recommend this unit to anyone interested.

This 3rd floor unit has wonderful morning sun and gorgeous sunset views. The layout is nice with all rooms getting a partial ocean view. Furniture is comfortable and kitchen has the tools you need for a terrific vacation at the beach.

The unit is in a great location with beautiful ocean views. The unit was generally clean but the travertine floors (especially in the kitchen) are in need of a deep steam clean. This would enhance the overall impression of the unit. Some of the small appliances (toaster and coffee maker) could be replaced. With a little spruce up this unit would be a fantastic vacation destination!

This condo with Ocean views, a short walk to Fletcher Park with all the amenities need was perfect for our the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids). Pool and spa for after the beach, show to rinse off at prior to heading up to condo for the day, plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

I hope people read this review and it stays here. some reviews have been taken down and speaking to the manager she doesn’t know why.
this condo is absolutely outdated and dirty. The skylights have spider webs and black widows! The second bedroom picture is NOT realistic- the curtains don’t even fit properly, there are no shades and there is no room to pull the beds apart- you can’t even shut the door all the way! The day we arrived, I personally had to clean everything myself because it was so dusty. When you open and close the curtains- dust flies everywhere- I guarantee they were never cleaned since they were put up. All the pots have scratches on it, didn’t even bother with the coffee maker- that was scratched too. Lastly, quickly take showers, the water heater last for a good 15 minutes. otherwise, cold cold showers.

The unit was dingy and not well maintained , the carpets were dirty and the tile floors looked grimy.The parking spots we were assigned were between two poles that made it difficult to park.

The location and the complex is fabulous. I would say the unit was “good enough”. Obviously the owners have deferred maintenance. A trip to Big Lots or some similar store could easily result in inexpensive drapes that fit the windows and are not a tripping hazards. Specifically in the twin bedroom. The rest fit but are in poor condition. While the unit appeared clean, it was obvious on the glass tops of the tables that the same rag had been swiped over the surface.

Having rented a ton of vacation rentals over the last few years we’ve come to expect certain amenities that we found lacking in this unit. 99.9% of the time there is a Welcome Book detailing the sights, must sees and restaurants in the area. Usually with menus included.This is honestly the first vacation rental I’ve been in that didn’t have some sort of “Welcome Basket” containing a few snacks and a few bottles of water. Our overall impression was that just enough had been done so you couldn’t complain, but absolutely nothing was done to make you feel welcome, want to recommend this place or book it again.
As was stated by another reviewer, the TV in the living room needs to be replaced and perhaps that one can be moved to the twin bedroom.
We did have one issue, the sliding screen door wouldn’t open. Apparently there had been a massive sand storm a few days before our arrival. We called Stubbs and someone came right over and fixed it, so kudos to them. No doubt they have recommended some of these changes to the owners already. Too bad they haven’t listened.
We will rent through Stubbs again, either in this complex or one of the others they manage. But not this unit.

Amazing views. Paradise Found is exactly the best way to describe the view. Really appreciated that Stubbs was able to extend our stay due to construction delays with our home. They were great and attentive to our needs.

I love Solana. This apt was perfect. The best location for us to visit our son in Solana. Super nice to be so close to the ocean. Apt needs a new TV

We stayed in Solana for 8 weeks. The Condo is well supplied in the kitchen, fans in bedrooms and living room and the unit was clean. King bed (comfortable) and 2 twins. Elevator to reach the parking garage is close. Condo within walking distance of the Lagoon/Nature trails, restaurants, walking and biking path. Easy access to I-5. Stubbs was very responsive when needed. We had a great stay and will come back.

I loved the location. The condo was old. Everything was rusty. The kitchen items and the barbeque were rusty. Beds were uncomfortable also. The only great thing was the ocean view. We went out and bought paper cups and dishes to use.
