Was pleased with the way everything was stocked and how clean everything was, however we were distracted several times with a plumbing issue that wasn’t our fault and we were limited to using water, they supposedly knocked off $350 towards our inconvenience in which with the distractions we felt they could of done better being this was our vacation. In all everything went well except for the plumbing issues.3

We have been vacationing in Solana Beach for last 7 years and had been staying at hotels. This year we gave Stubbs rentals a try and Serenity by The Sea was by far our most enjoyable place to stay. It was perfect for us in every way and Stubbs was attentive to all our needs!

Absoolutely loved this property. Recently renovated inside, very spacious, clean and well stocked. The property itself provides easy parking, great beach access to an amazing sandy beach, nice quiet pool and jacuzzi. You won't be disappointed!

Magnificent ocean view in a comfortable clean condo. Gated complex with 2 parking spaces per unit. Immediately adjacent to beach access steps. Walking distance to restaurants and the Coaster station

Several floor rugs had rolled back and were a fall hazard. The bathroom sinks flowed very slowly. The air conditioners didn't work properly and made a lot of noise even when turned off.

The unit was clean and very well equipped. I had avery stay and the ocean view was just fabulous. I was very happy that everything I wanted was there. I was a little upset that I did not need the Air conditioner and never used it as it was not required but had to pay for it nevertheless

The rental experience was perfect in every way - great locale, great unit with excellent furnishings and ability to cook gourmet meals in the well fitted kitchen with great appliances. The management was very cooperative and prompt with our requests.The views of the ocean were just fabulours. I would love to come here again.

Condo is lovely. Very good space. Can't beat the view!! Bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds. I cook a lot because of food challenges, and the staff provided me with a blender and a proper coffee pot. The kitchen could have been better stocked. No salad or mixing bowls. No kitchen towels. The fireplace door was broken, and the master sink didn't drain from the moment I got there, but maintenance came the next day for that! I would stay again and recommend!!

This spot is gorgeous, The pictures of the home were spot on. The place was very clean and very well stocked with anything you could imagine you would need. The view from the balcony was beautiful, and the sunsets were amazing. We spent a lot of time on the beach taking long walks. The beach was not crowded and very clean. This condo has very friendly environment. We spoke with people who live in the condos and they were very welcoming. Overall my daughter and I had a much needed week in paradise.

This place is great! The location is absolutely fantastic! You not only overlook the ocean, but you can hear it all day & night. The kitchen, dining area and living room are all open, modern and clean. Great new floors!

The bedrooms & bathrooms are a good sizes, They’re clean, however, I wish that there was new hard flooring in the bedroom, like in the rest of the house. I also wish that the kitchen was stocked with essentials instead of random things that people left behind. There weren’t any paper towels, basic seasonings or even dish washer detergent.

All in all, it was great and we’d definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved our time at this two bedroom condo. With views of the ocean and easy access to the beach it was the perfect place for our family. Everything you could possibly need is in the unit making our stay perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Serenity by the Sea. The property was well-maintained, great access to the beach, and quiet condos. The internet was a bit frustrating since we were working too, but I’m not sure what was causing that issue. And, for longer stays (like ours) it would be wonderful to have more dish soap and paper towels. Otherwise, we were very happy.

The location of this rental is AMAZING! However, the bathrooms were not clean, specifically the rugs in the bathrooms which were totally disgusting and I had to wash them to be able to use them. The blinds on the sliding glass door were so broken I was never able to close them for my entire week-long stay, which was a privacy concern. There was also an incident in the parking garage where someone was reviving their engine and peeling out so bad that neighbors were complaining about the smoke and smell. I really wanted to love this cute little place but it was just so dirty and upsetting.

My daughter and I stayed at the Serenity by the sea oceanfront condominium. It was great. We could sit on the deck and watch the dolphins swim by or watch surfers try to catch some waves. The beach was not crowded at all. There are a lot of steps to get to the beach, so if you have problems with your knees, it might not be convenient. However, that is what you will find across the entire stretch of beach here. The condo was well equipped and comfortable. We were really thankful it had air conditioning.

This was our first experience with Dave Stubbs and it was tremendous. We already have another place for this summer. Almost everyone I have dealt with has been so helpful, courteous, and willing to help find the right place for however many in my family go. Check-in and check-out are so easy.

Fabulous location so that is why we came back after having rented same property many years prior. The walls were dirty and towels, some sheets and entry porch were in poor condition. I would not feel comfortable asking guests to stay or share in the cost of the condo as the guest bedroom is awful. It was too much $ for a run down unit. We will not rent that unit again unless it is updated. We were happy with the management company and would ask for their recommendation for something in better condition. If you have something available this summer/fall that is close by, but nice, we would be happy to hear from you. Overall the property inside was as clean as it could be considering that it needed painting, new towels and the sofas cleaned. Teri Hensley
